REAL ESTATE CONSULTING
| Real Estate Workout Consulting. Mill Source Capital, LLC has been hired by a bank investment group to manage the development and sale of a 300,000 sf (FAR) urban office/hotel site in downtown Washington, DC. The assignment involves the construction of a 6 level below grade structure, negotiation of agreements with the FDIC, and negotiation with prospects for the sale of the site. The urban setting and partnership arrangements make this a highly complex project. |
EXPERT WITNESS
| Expert Witness. Glenn Howell provided
pre-trial consulting and testimony in trial as an expert witness on environmental/finance
issues as a consultant to the law firm of Moore & Van Allen on behalf of its
oil company client (the defendant). Gasoline from the defendants gas station
contaminated the groundwater under the plaintiffs adjacent (down-gradient)
commercial property. Plaintiff claimed economic damages due to his inability to finance
improvements because of the contamination. Howells experience in developing
environmentally impaired properties was the basis for his testimony about the availability
of financing and strategy for securing financing for plaintiffs property.
